A former top national player, Coach Poh Huat brings decades of experience and a deeply patient, committed approach to coaching. Whether you’re a penholder or a shake-hand grip player – beginner or seasoned competitor – he has the expertise to elevate your game.

Arik Chan – Table Tennis Coach

I usually leave table tennis coaching to the full-time coaches. But when time and opportunity allow, I’ll take a session—it’s a good way to keep myself sharp.

I started as a shakehand player and later switched to penhold. I now use the Reverse Penhold Backhand (RPB), with long pips on one side and smooth rubber on the other. Going through that change myself helps me understand what it’s like to adjust your playing style—the frustration, and the payoff.
